The Advanced Remote & Wilderness Equine First Aid course is new for 2015. Instructors are being trained now and the advanced program in Alberta will start soon.
Windhorse Retreat is happy to be among the first in Alberta and Canada to host this advanced equine course on April 25. People talking the course will be certified by Equi-Health Canada.
Equi-Health Canada/ Equi-First Aid U.S. is an international organization dedicated to helping owners and enthusiasts improve the health and safety of equines. Their instructors provide emergency first aid training to individuals, clubs and organizations across Canada and the U.S. and even farther away.
The Equi-Health Canada equine first aid courses were developed by veterinarians in conjunction with farriers, equine chiropractors, equine massage therapists, back country outfitters and numerous other interested parties. Their courses and products are recognized nation-wide.
The basic equine first aid course is a prerequisite for the advanced course, and we’ll offer this basic course March 21.
